January 20 2000: Chapter officers installed by VASSAR President David H. Harpole Sr M.D.

February 2 2000: Culpeper County Board of Supervisors present plaque to charter member and chapter past President Claude Guinn as the county's best representative for the 225 anniversary of the formation of The Culpeper Minute Men Battalion in 1775

February 18-19 2000: Chapter officers attend annual VASSAR meeting in Richmond, VA and report on it's activities

February 23 2000: Former Charter member and President Claude Guinn is honored at a joint session of the Virginia House of Delegates in Richmond. He came dressed in the attire of a Culpeper Minute Man and was given a plaque honoring that unit in the Battle of Great Bridge in Norfolk, VA on it's 225th anniversary

March 18 2000: At a meeting of the chapter, a winning essay is read by the participant Molly Baker and she received chapter checks for her winning essay on a Revolutionary War period subject. President Schnorf added the ribbon received at VASSAR to the chapter colors for being the best mid-sized chapter in the state. A presentation on the involvement of the VA Rifle Regiment at the battle of Saratoga was heard

April 6 2000: Chapter members lay a wreath in a ceremony at the General Hugh Mercer Monument in Fredericksburg

April 15 2000: The chapter hosts a meeting of three chapters at the Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria, VA. Attendees heard a presentation on "The Beginnings of the American Navy"

May 6 2000: Chapter members participate in a Commemoration Service at the gravesite of Revolutionary War Sea Captain Eleazer Callender in Fredericksburg, VA

May 20 2000: Chapter conducts a grave marking ceremony for Revolutionary War Colonel Robert Randolph in Midland, VA

May 2000: Chapter members present Junior ROTC awards to selected cadets at area high schools and academies

May 29 2000: Chapter Vice President, Mike Lyman makes presentation on the life of Revolutionary War Navy Captain Eleazer Callender at his gravesite in the Masonic Cemetery in Fredericksburg, VA as part of the Memorial Day Ceremony there.

June 17 2000: Chapter members lay a wreath at the NSDAR obelisk in Culpeper, VA which honors the CMM Battalion formed there in 1775. Names of 10 enlisted men of the battalion were named and honored

June 25 2000: Chapter Vice President Mike Lyman lays a Chapter SAR wreath at the VASSAR monument at Valley Forge, PA

July 4 2000: Chapter participates in the town of Culpeper, VA 4th of July ceremony and carried the Chapter colors in the event.

September 16 2000: At a chapter meeting the award of the best one page newsletter in NASSAR was announced as having been won by the chapter

October 21 2000: Chapter conducts an award ceremony and presents certificates and medals to outstanding teachers, students, policemen and firemen in the counties served. A flag certificate was awarded to one business in the area.

November 18 2000: Chapter hears high school orations contestant's presentations regarding Revolutionary War era subjects.

December 9 2000: Chapter members enjoy a banquet with two local NSDAR Chapters
